MEMORY #7 (TO HAVE A STRONG HEART) // SIGNIFICANT POSITIVE
RETURN FROM CON MEETUP
GET MEMORY
. . . AWESOME
This memory immediately follows the last (literally!), so it starts here and goes to the end of the chapter!
* Konatsu wakes up injured in the clinic with Hyuuga at his bedside
* He feels ashamed of losing control during the battle earlier and apologizes to Hyuuga
* Hyuuga gives him his sword and tells him that he has an incredible bloodlust to be able to fight until he passed out
* Konatsu doesn't remember that happening and tries to refuse his reward
* He realizes that he was fighting for a naive reason: to try and destroy his own darkness in one symbolic gesture
* "What I really want has no meaning if I am given it by someone . . . I don't need it from anyone . . . to absolutely never waver . . . I want a strong heart to be able to keep running on my own."
* Konatsu thanks him for the duel, and Hyuuga gives him the contract to sign to join the Black Hawks: "It's nice that what you want is to be in the Black Hawks, Konatsu."
WHAT HE REMEMBERS
* My last name is Warren (I assume it was on the contract)
* Hyuuga was impressed by my bloodthirst . . .
* He wasn't upset with me or judgmental about my behavior. Also kind of a troll . . .
* I TOTALLY FIGURED MYSELF OUT A LITTLE AFTER THAT LAST AWFUL MEMORY HAPPENED!
* My "purpose" is to have my own inner strength and keep moving forward, no matter what, and no one else can give me that; I have to build it myself
* I was accepted to be his subordinate after that battle
WHAT THIS MEANS
